Housing list?

Is it just me or is the Market Explorer list sort of fubar? :/ 50% of the time the item I'm looking for is not at the merchant when I get there. How long update delay is there?

EDIT: Also, why have they made housing zone so annoying to get around with all the un-climbable hills? :/

I have been told they will remove zonewalls in housing with NF.
Should make it a lot easier to travel there ...
