Housing, how to view free lot's?

If i wanted to see what lot's are free on a housing zone, is the only option to go by every village? Or are there other options (not farming + asking someone 2 buy house)

I wanted to know this two - the only solutions i found.

Hire (or be) a mins/skald/bard and run around looking for one
Ask on alliance / guild challen if anyone has seen a spare lot.

There doesnt seam to be any GOA list of vacant lots.

Yeh, I've only seen a lot-viewer type affair for the US servers on the Camelot Herald.

The glib answer I guess is to get a US account, but I don't think thats really a decent answer

There is a database somewhere of house locations. House owners could fill it in with info about the sort of stuff on their CM. Obviously it's not going to be definitive as not everyone will have put themselves into it or updated their entries but it might provide some good leads.
