my hotmail account gathers about 20 spam e-mails a day. Yeah i noticed they spunked it up a bit earlier. still shite though

I've totally given up on the inbox filters for Hotmail, so I activated the option where now only people on my MSN contact list can send stuff there..... surprise surprise no spam gets through anymore.

pity outlook express doesn't have an inbuilt spam program, all you can do is block the senders. Which doesn't work if your email adress is floating around out there

yep - i've turned the spam off just to stop that little box saying you've got mail every time you tourn on your PC.

Not at all! I have Win XP and Outlook 2002 (Office XP) and haven't heard a peep out of Messenger since I un-ticked the boxes telling it to load at startup and not to run in the background.
