Awful film the best bits were the fucking scenes thats all.

Seriously why does everyone go mad for QT films? i thought killbill was utter shite and this is another one of his disasters.

There was basicly no story/plot to this film what so ever avoid it.

Wasn't overly impressed myself. Wasn't as gruesome as I thought it was going to be, and ended up enjoying the character build up more than the rest of the film. The char introduction wasn't even as good as wolf creek.

I didnt like Kill Bill but to say Pulp Fiction, Duck Till Dawn and Reservoir Dogs are dire is way off the mark.

Meh, Tarantino makes films as an avid, avid (as in extremely nerdish) fan, not necessarily as a professional film-maker, not to say they are all great and classic but that's how it is. I like them but that's beside the point.

I haven't seen Hostel but know a girl who has, she went home and watched 'A Cinderella Story' once she arrived to forget some of the imagery, got to love her ;).

I didnt get what was so great about Killbill either :( Crap B-movie in my book with a totally unbelievable heroine etc (Uma Thurmans martial arts performance leave something to be desired).

Just saw it now - my gutfeeling is that it was a crap movie tbh, as they could have made the same story without showing all that torture so intensely (made me sick to watch, was about to turn it off at a couple times, and im not fainthearted - but i do question to what end such graphics are supposed to enhance the movie? Are we supposed to get a thrill out of it ourselves like the people performing it apparently do?).

Its interesting to see a movie portraying to what lenghts some people will go to make money though, or to get their thrills. I dont believe a setup like that would be possible in real life though, as it would require too many psycopaths to cooperate, which they normaly dont do as far as i know, and semi-normal ruthless people would never be able to work like that. You need to be a full fledged psycopath to be able to function in such an enviroment.
