Horror films :(

To be honest my wife finds Battlestar Galactica scary...most of those films mentioned would have her running screaming from the room by the time the titles finished.

The Strangers??

It was appalling. The most stoopid people in any horror movie ever. "STAY INSIDE DARLING, YOU'LL BE SAFE INSIDE THE HOUSE THAT WE KNOW THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY BROKEN INTO REPEATEDLY. I'M JUST GOING TO GO OUTSIDE AND BE A RETARD SOME MORE."

The Grudge, but only if you watch the original versions.

I thought the American Grudge was pretty creepy actually, though I guess that's because it was still set in Japan and directed by the same guy that did the original.

Not strictly horror but set up for creepy with Pan's Labyrinth then follow through with one of the scarier recommendations.

I quite liked the Messangers as well, nice and atmospheric, alhough i never quite finished it for some reason.
