It's too early in the morning for me to write the full recruitment blurb, but if anyone is interested in joining a friendly guild, planning to go Horde on an english language RP server, check out this site:

www.ashenrose.org

We plan to take a fairly laid back approach, and guarantee no highly-strung dramatics, drama queen officers, or dodgy romantic subplots -- unless anyone really does want to get it on with Gai's undead priest in which case we'll all come to watch and give marks out of 10.

However, we do also intend to enjoy the hell out of the game, and give people the opportunity to play through as much of the content as they can stand. We'll do instance runs, raids on enemy cities, high level raids, and organise ourselves for the battlegrounds when they are available!

Get ready to join the conspiracy ...

The table is in a corner of the musty inn. It hasn't seen so much business in weeks, what with the various plagues and raiding parties. People have been too busy with the day to day matters of survival to spend much time chatting over a pint or two of 'old fusty', the local bitter. The town itself has been first a poverty stricken slum of war, then an overcrowded shelter for desperate refugees, then a ghost town and now ... a living graveyard.

But tonight is different.

The innkeeper, newly raised from the dead and pressganged into the banshee queen's forsaken troops has never seen a troll before, or a tauren. He's only seen pictures of orcs. But members of all these races are sitting around his corner table, talking in fierce whispers with some undead who the innkeeper doesn't recognise at all. They seem highly born. But who can tell?

And they tip well. And the trolls drink seventeen pints of old fusty before asking for more. So when they ask to stay past the regular closing time, the old innkeeper nods, closes the place up, and takes the creaky staircase to the bedroom he used to share with his wife, before she died and was buried in the old graveyard. He hears the conspirators arguing dimly through the walls as he watches the full moon, and drifts off to the thin sleep that the forsaken can sometimes still achieve ...
