Hoover!!!!

I just hoovered my PC and shaved 8 Degrees C off it's idle temp!

The experience is throughly recommended..although be careful!

Dust, oil, etc all insulate chips and thus it is important to clean PCs every now and then

I did mine recently also. I've now unplugged all my fans and it is sooo much quiter. \o/

I had a little Keyboard vacuum that I used on all the small fans and cables then the main vaccuum to clear off other bits.

I could really do with a full stripdown and clean but the HDDs are such a bast to unplug and get out

EDIT/ I was also thinking about getting a pair of tights or some netting to stop so much fine dust getting into the machine, anyone tried this?

It's a vacuum cleaner made by Dyson, hoover is a brand name

The case I have, globalwin 802 has a one way mesh in front of the front fan that filters dust and stuff out of the air it sucks in. works pretty well and it's very easy to clean. Dunno about people using tights and stuff though. :/

I got a pond pump at the end of the garden perhaps if I cut the filter up into slices I can use that...
