Hooligans, wtf did they choose to cast Eliah Wood in that role

The movie itself had a great plot, even though it sometimes felt like it was trying to romanticize the hooligans lives. No matter, it was a good movie, except for the friggin midget Eliah Wood, what on earth made them cast him in that movie, it's a paradox within itself. Everytime he smiled, I could only see a lonely hobbit looking for attention, not a vicious hooligan. I thought he was gonan start making out with the blond guy every time they were alone.

I found it a bit bum clenchy when they starting giving it all the cockney rhyming slang. All in all, it wasn't an appalling film, but I nearly switched it off very early on because it made me feel really awkward. "Gor blimey govnor, apples and pears, apples and pears! Oh yeah, we talk in Cockney Rhyming Slang. Cos we're cockneys. Nuclear sub! Rub a dub dub!"

Twas a tad shite and not a patch on Football Factory. Not seen ID (I don't think).

Lead blokes accent was a joke, though.
