Re-subscribed to FFXI in Feb and really enjoying it again.
Took some time to get used to the UI and lack of using a mouse
but getting there. The game really hasnt changed that much except now its easier to farm crystals while leveling as your city has faction (when I played on release that wasnt the case)
Still loads of people around to group with and some really friendly people, the graphics are still pretty damn amazing even today. Managed to get myself up to L30 on a warrior and completed the Paladin quest this week so bumping that up to mid 20's over the next few days so I can group with some friends already in that region.
Not looking to stay on FFXI all the time, just use it as a break from RL and DAOC and will be hovering between the two games as of next week.
I guess Aurora is still going strong, seen a few pearly coloured linkshell bubs around, drop me a /tell if you were playing 2 years ago !
