Anyone downloaded the demo?
I've been playing for about an hour and I'd assess it thus:
Looks much better than the first one - not revolutionary but definately a lot better - and with LOTS on screen at once (which happens at the end of the first mission) it doesn't chug a bit on my PC (which, admittedly, is a ninja-bastard but hey-ho).
Gameplay looks to be very similar - not a bad thing but I hope that later in the game the mission variety and ship/tactical changes are much improved.
BUGGY.
I've had one crash to desktop and one complete system reboot. Way to go Sierra - that'll get the punters buying. (Remember Tribes2?).
Why do they think that releasing an obviously buggy demo will help them sell the game. - I was all set for buying this but two catastrophic bugs in less than an hour has put me right off - until they patch like madmen....
....how long before it's due out??
