Holes in keeps

Once again i have spent over 4hrs repairing holes in beno.With the exception of 2-3 albs not 1 of you could be bothered to bring wood.Well this was the last time i do it,unless i get a constant supply of wood i don't care if every keep in alb has holes in them,I will not be repairing them.If albs don't care then i don't anymore.

If I'm on just PM me, I'll be more than happy to shuttle wood from CS to where-ever you need it, dont think I was on when you where repairing beno though.

You're right though, I've been sat repairing towers before and with a few expections people just dont seem bothered with supplying wood for repairs.
(not for 4 hours, but i have idea of what you mean)

It'll take a relic loss, then those people who don't bother supplying wood will whine about no-one repairing keeps.

A general request - its easy enough. Convokers always summon when your timer allows. If your at CS or Snow pick up a few hundred boards - it doesn't cost much and won't weigh you down. Yes I know repairs take a lot more than that but if everyone does it then it makes life easier.

seen it happen over and over again. standing in a hole. asking if some can bring wood but nooo.. after 2-3 hours then they do some strange PM and ask if you need wood or if hole is fixed

Not surprised Ardamel finds trebbing holes exciting.
He also enjoyed 6am NPC relic raids.

Each day only 3 people are fixing the holes, one of which is Iorlas.
Lets say 20 people take the time to supply them with wood when they can.
It is just too few. Everybody should just bring 200 ironwood with them, costs little and helps a lot.
But I doubt we will see that.
Just like I doubt we will see a fair relic fight

Ill be more then happy to help, and I know more convokers are out there.

Unfortunately I have not had the time to bring my wood skill up to the
required level but I hope to get some time left over soon for that.

I dont think ppl understand that you are the guys to thank for us still
having our keeps.

I honestly think there should be some sort of reward for repairing a keep
with a hole in it. It might sound strange but I think some RP should
be awarded. Then maybe ppl could be arsed to repair them keeps a bit more frequently.

have to say I'm lazy myself to bring wood and respect the people repairing holes in keeps etc. Will try to allways carry some wood with me then when needed and I agree on Docs. Give some reward for repairing keeps/towers. Just like you get rp from defending and taking keeps/towers so should it be so for repairing them.

Think its the reason i stopped repairing holes in keeps.
Its hard to get wood indeed.
What makes it more easyer that every 1 takes a little wood into RvR.
1 or 2 stacks will work wonders.
Casters should ask if there is need for wood and summon if they can.
But always peeps run off to make some more RP.
Remember we make more RP beacause off the relics so let handle them with care. :wub:

I myself have made sure that im always carrying 200 ironwood since reading this, I think its one of the best solutions, and will mean the difference between loosing a keep or holding it in many situations.

Getting RSI on my finger from hitting that damn summonwood button all the time.. i can imagine how some BD's feel after a night out in the frontiers

But seriously we definitely do need more convokers/wood carriers to help out if there is a keep with a hole in it or a broken/damaged door. Its not the most fun thing to do.. hell i spent close to 4 hours summoning wood for Iorlas and Nerfalot at Beno this weekend.. would have been a lot faster if a few more people had shown up to help.

If we want to keep them relics we need to be more co-ordinated in our keep fixing efforts.
