Hello ladies,

Made it to Uni. Got me a nice new shiny janet connection but guess what..no irc or gamespy access atm. Anyone else had this problem and cured it?

Any help much appreciated.

Depends on the university really, generally connections via SuperJanet are going to be heavily policed and I know some universities use a new novell client, if you're using any of that malarkey chances are you're not going to get Gamespy or mIRC to do anythin...

Tried that, just getting connection refused all the time.

irc/gamespy ports are closed by the firewall... No way to get that around
