Well, what can I say ? you are obviously a kid, or a sad lonely bloke. This is a Quake 2 messageboard and my posting was Q2 related, I have not noticed any of the other players who post on this site, getting propositioned ??? I am more interested in replies concerning why people impersonate others on the server ?

I find it hard to believe that any wimen play quake...all the burds I've shown it to (the game peeps...the game...) look at me like i'm sick. I am, but, that's got nothing to do with the game.

Sorry to be a bore, back to the original post :)

Crivens, we had a lot of that impersonating stuff for a while on the farm (CtC server) and we had to up security on all our forums :(. Gits!

They didn't just leave it at name changes tho, it was also a bit (I say a bit but I mean a lot) of flaming (to give the impression the person impersonated is an arse). Sad, but true; there were feathers flying and chickens scratching!

On a less harmful note, I also notice a lot of statues in CtC lately. You guys get this in other mods? 'Look at me, I can stand still forever!'.
Rumour has it, it's the practice of a buddhist routine to do with being peaceful while surrounded by chaos. I think it's just lucky Americans with unmetered access but I could be wrong :)

Oh, I know a couple of lasses who play quake, and they'd both kick your asses :)

I know loads of girls that play quake2. Theres a whole webby related to women gamers, (url.. any1?). Perhaps the best q2 player that i know who is female is [MKC]MoneyPenny.

Back to the Alias thing; Not sure really but i guess it has alot to do with having too much free time and being rather sad. Anyway there will always be only one SOB-QT! :D

Been watchin this thread for a while and it ties in nicely with Krytens little problem, the impersonator problem, not the 'other' problem: That cleared up yet Kryts? :)

I tend to agree with Exor and Stu on this one and just ignore them. After all, what is going to happen if u don't? I read somewhere that the police were involved with one of these? er, why? 'Scuse me Officer, someone has been using my nick on a Quake2 server.' He'll be in stitches. innit.
