maybe 10 fgs on the RR, oops trip over some albs and the odd lone mid on the way

door 1 down, pretty quick, door 2 ... mass guard pop, damnit, lots die, get em up, onto inner door, mass guard spam, just starting to work it round to winable and then ..

60 odd mids arrive, along with probably about 25 already in the keep, and we, predictably, get savage assist trained and aoe`d into oblivion whilst being totally unable to move.

K, release, well thats 20plats cost to the mids, oh wait thats bugger all to them, right lets go back and annoy them.

50 or so brave (or mad, take your pick), Hibs head back, clobber bledmeer and yay, right lets get some merchants popped, Hibernian Dragon Slayers claim and start the upgrade. Hmm, its gotten laggy again, NS scout down the road dies and reports, 3fg inc. Ok we can handle 3fg, wait now 5fg, oh 8fg? well itll be a standoff <a guard from your outpost has died with 112 enemies in the area>. Well thats a bit more than 8fgs then Ted, <a guard from your outpost has died with 148 enemies in the area>. Ok this is NOT good.

Level 1 doors get trampled in about oh ... 80 seconds (hello to those lovely mids running around inside setting gts and generally being dicks due to the patch `screwups`). Manage to unlag enough to get up to the lord, defence ? whats that, spells arent casting, gt'd out the arse with no line of sight, here come the Savages oh look everyone died. Time from door to dropping lord? roughtly 3 minutes. Course, 150 mids with such stl0ng tactics as brainless zerg behind the savages wouldnt have had an issue taking a level 10 keep. I think we managed to drop maybe 2fgs total before we got steamrollered.

Be interesting to setup the an organised duel in emain sometime, Buffbot Druid+bard+Hero vs Healer+Shaman+Savage vs Armsman + Paladin + Cleric. Buffbot spec support of course, see if either the Hero or the Armsman has a hope in fucking hell in standing up to the Sav (oh look its a light tank, not the main tank.. cough cough).

problem 2, Hero is spear specced, good luck hitting the savage with that much evade

problem 3, Hero is sword n board, ohmy the quadhits ignore his 50+15 shield and still hit him, and the hero, oh dear, cant actually hit the savage with that evade

Problem 4, Hero is shield / Lw hybrid, hurrah he manages to slam the savage, oh, it lasted all of 2 seconds, well there goes annihilation, oh yes advanced evade, dodged from the rear.


ps, love n kisses, but if you think savages dont need nerfing, youre not on the recieving end of what they dish out.

Slam lasted 2 sec ??????????????????????????

Take merc + pally+ cleric then sounds better then armsman.

Albs with no CC in that fight but prob stay up longer in head to head fight + 2 that can mele.


And warrior > savage 1v1

How hibs would do all depends how fast they get the sammy down mess healer kill shammy and kiting bard.

Only way a slam can last only 2 secs is if he purges if Im not mistaken?
Det doest fuck all against shield/weaponstun?

Or am I wrong there, not played all that long so not 100%

The stun I hate the most is petstun, get rid of it or atleast get an immunitytimer on it :(

Hehe, funny and mostly accurate apart from Melee stuns ain't affected by resists or determination, thus Savages are stunned for the full 9 seconds. Luckily most have Det 5 so save purge for when they get slammed. Net result is the above but slam could theoritically last 9 seconds.

As for Mids fighting back with 140+ - can you blame them, we just kicked their front door down and pissed in their hallway (just missed out on making off with the family silver) - I'd be a tad irritated in those circumstances ;)

Np, thank u for admitting u were at fault. Didn't effect the end result anway, there were far too many mids for that :)

Was dam nice coordination there, first we have guardspam from albs at our keep, then the attackers all of the sudden jump from 60 to 80 or something. But someone sees its a jarl goin down and reports goin out on as, then we heard albs where on Mjolnir aswell. But seems that was just a misstake. :)

That was a very good raid, and right down to the wire. I was inside Gral reporting door 2 status. Couple of nightshades popped on me and I had to get back inside the tower sharpish. Fortunately I still had the door targetted and could keep on reporting.

I noticed a delay on Door 3 and we guessed it was guard pop but the Mids weren't quite yet ready to charge. Zap had them downhill waiting for enough to catch up and I just kept reporting door status.

Watching Door 3 gradually creep down while the Mids were incoming.

Door 3 down to 45% roughly before the cavalry arrived.

Tense stuff. I didn't get a single RP from this but somehow seemed to be a little out of pocket at the end of it.

Well organised Hibs, and good prime time raid.

how is it possible that 80-90 hibs didnt notice the albs in the frontier... after all, it was 54 albs...

and if they did, why didnt they attack each other? ow... soz... that would indicate coop mode

nice try hibs

I scouted all the albs out stood their watching them all attack Notts(?) and told aran not to run into the albs.

Why would we attack albs when going on a rr if we didnt need too?

Wasn't any co-op as far as I know, Hib's had a couple of FG's running in Odins trying to clear out the Mids, they ran into 3+ FG's of Albs at amgO and got slaughtered. The rest of the Hib Army stayed hidden till the scounts had reported the Alb's had passed heading Nott way.

Yes we had a Hib army of maybe 10FG, but why would we want to announce our presents to anybody on that scale for the sake of a few RP - 3FG of Albs get squished by 10 FG of Hibs and immediatly whine goes out 10 FG Hib Zerg in Odins blah blah blah.

Additionally from a tatical point of view it's better for our raid to have the Albs running about, don't think any Hib knew that there was that many Albs there and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have made any difference to how we behaved if we did. Sole purpose of the Hib force was to get to RK and bash on the doors.

We had just left HPK (after killing everlast) when one of the groups scouting got wiped by albs at AMG.
Reports then indicated they were gathering numbers (up to 5fg i think) there so we moved hoping to get past the T-junc and avoid Notts before they moved and everlast returned.

This worked apart from the lone alb (probably afk) that we ran over.

As for the raids, alas so far none have been successful but we had fun doing it, and most have come close.

Again well done to the mids for thier timely response, can you get the Str relics again so we dont get stupid numbers of guards <grin>

hehehe, what makes me laugh, is its not the 150 mids hammering on bled doors that pissed em off... its that there were some savages with em... hehhehheh...

Think we had 2fgs at most inside Grallar while you were bashing on the outside doors. Managed to target a couple of AoE dots on an underhill fella who was just inside fighting a guard.. that was fun watching the 'you hit' spam :)

Then got steamrollered when the second door went down.. didn't manage to get inside fast enough :(

I did die in the perfect position to watch the Mid cavalry arrive just in time though :)

Dont think we would make it, took about 10m just to get 4fg to be rdy.

People using housing port some runing from uppland split mids in ½.

Standing downhill with 4fg waiting for report of guard pop and last door on 50 % is scary.

Weve tried with untold primtime raids and they dont seem to be working. Dont get me wrong they are great fun but Hibs seem to be getting less numbers on RR's lately.

Think we'll have to go back to alarmclock raids to succed, which is a shame.

We came, We saw, We got our asses thoroughly kicked back to hib, nice responce from mids. :)
