Hmmm strange hibs

Remember a week or 2 ago, hibs were saying on here they dont rvr in emain because they dont have many high lvl players blah blah, yet as soon as DF opens, WHAM, hundreds of hibbies suddenly turn up.

Strange that i think.

its more of a fact that we have to run to emain just to get zerged, it gets boring.

Yes it's very cool that we don't have to make that Mind Numbing run to DF for RvR. And in between murdering albs, you can kill princes

A trip to emain of 15 mins or 5 mins on horse and wait another 5-10 mins till teleport and another 3 mins to get to wall

dont see much diffirent :>
we even loose 10s every time

Yeah it rox...nothing nicer to c 5 balanced fg charging xping albs after a succesfull legion attempt. And btw loot distribution went well. I would like to c how the albs would handle the loot if u kill the legion. I bet pretty many become unfriendly etc..

Of course they would, please stop taunting us for living in the zerg realm which quite statistically has the most immature whining twats too. It's hard enough as it is to stand them

I think the frustration that most hibs were expressing about RvR was simply that given the numbers (http://forums.barrysworld.com/showthread.php?threadid=28587 if you need your memory refreshed), Albion has about twice as many RvR-capable characters as Hibernia, and Midgard has about the same as Hib but with many more high levels. This means that the state of Emain RvR is:
1) If only half of Albion's RvR population comes to Emain, ALL of Hib's must come in order to give a fair (fun) fight. If they don't, the Hibs who do come will get squished in short order.
2) If a large number of Hibs DO come out, and start fighting the Albs, then Albion alliance and guild chat will be filled with "woo, hibbies!" and "lots of fun in Emain!" and the next thing we know 80+ Albs swarm out of the portal keep and RvR is over for the night.
3) If two equal groups of Hibs and Mids meet, the odds are that the Hibs will be crushed more often than not because chances are the Mids are all level 50 and the Hibs are 40+

All this plus the run back to Emain PLUS the full groups of level 50s constantly camping the Gorge put a lot of people off Emain RvR because there was little fun to be had there. Now Darkness Falls has added some new content to the game, and they are back to have a look. Hopefully the dynamic of the game has changed enough to make it fun for a while longer and they will stay and play with us.
