hl.exe error

Hi Guys

I ahvent been able to play CS for sometime now and its doing me fooking head in.

Anyway when I try an connect to CS or DoD or anything it comes up with a C++ hl.exe error and totally locks my PC.

I have tried to unistall steam, reinstall it, install ofver it, geta new full steam basically eveyrthing, is there anything else? Or is it a format time?

Have you made sure you completely removed all traces of steam, including any old installs of HL before reinstalling?

Even done a memory check and that, I am having problems with my GFX card at the mo and have a new one on order so it may be connected with that.

Found out what my error was, it was my GFX must have been the memory on it what was fubard.
