Personally, I dont think it is possible (I dont think the game gives you the option of a serial link)

Proble is it will be TOOOOOOOOOO slow to play).

Best idea is to network the 2 pcs.

All you need is 2 network cards (£15ish each) and a crossover network cable.

I'm sure Ch3tan will come up with something else more radical

Yes i can, sell your pc's, and come to croydon.

Once here u will see how easy it is to buy guns.

YOu spend the cash from your pc's on guns.

You then join one of the many gangs around, prefereably one of thoose invloved in the south london drug wars.

YOu could also join the police or form your own vigilante group, either way instant multiplayer cs.

I have played using null modem cable on serial ports (apparently using parallel ports is faster). ping was unstable and sometimes connection was lost, but generally the ping was around 100 for the "client" computer. I wanted a proper network though, so got me a LAN set-up ;)
fyi, I only got multiplayer working for HL games using null modem (ie not q3a or UT). kingpin worked too, and serious sam, but not as well as HL. Good luck
