HL Cheaters file

Are any of you getting a file created in your c: drive called:

cheaters.txt

In it is the following:

Windows renabled
Windows renabled
Windows renabled
Windows renabled
Windows renabled
Windows renabled
Windows renabled
Windows renabled

This list keeps growing the more I play. It gets generated when I play and if I delete it then it just gets recreated next time I play.

Its the cheat detection of Half-life, it creates a log of any odd activity including alt-tabbing -which translates as windows reenabled.

never seen that, but i have noticed in my console i keep getting the message

"unkown command _special"

wtf is this?

anyone?

ch3tan, bet u know what it is, how do i get rid of it?

sometimes there is like 10 continous lines of _special

Jobbie i get that message too. I have my wheelup as reload and it will sometimes come up with that message at the time i reload even though the command is carried out. Coincidence maybe.

I used to have my reload as mouse3, a bastard when the button got stuck.... would keep reloading after 1 shot

I get that as well Jobbie, I assumed it was the odd bindings I had in my buy script and binds.

It seems to happen when I change crosshair colour, reload or do last used weapon. I'll hcekc to see, not really a problem unless you play with the console down

Ch3tan, i've actually been on a game where someone has asked
"How come i can only see half the screen?" Not sure how they manged to pick a team etc...... but there you go. You do get some strange ones out there.
