- Changed 'exec' command no longer allows ".." or "\\" or ":" in the filename.

I got both patches off csnation within 3 or 4 attempts. Have people been having trouble then ?

:( yup we all are i think im even haveing problems down load here too for sum reson , whats really gits me p**** off is thay dont tell anyone thay are donig it (makeing a new update i mean) iv been on the sierra and valve site and not a word on thay about it or even a link for the patch , or im i wrong ?

Well downloaded Half-Life Version 1.1.1.0 from your link Embattle :) and tried to install it :-(

Got this message :)

An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This as normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file.

Well like most of you I’m getting a bit pissed off when Sierra update HALFLIFE and it don’t work properly like the last download 1.9

It be nice to have a warning when it going to happen was working 6 hours ago switch computer off for 1 and a half hours come back and its down like the last time sucks :-(

Thanks anyway Embattle Ill be back in an hour to see if I can find another link as long as it’s not FILEPLANET they suck big time :)

Oh shit sorry I should have said that I downloaded the 12.1 meg first to try that because the full version going to take 6 hours on 56k :-(

Ok this link dose seem to work ok , we had probs with you link on your first post , heres the error i got :

This was useing GoZilla (Down load manger)

ERROR
550/PUB/GAMES/HALFLIFE/OFFICIAL_PATCH/CLIENT/WIN32:NO SUCH FILE OR DIRECTORY.

So with any luck this seems to be working now , thank for the help guys.

only certain people will be able to access ftp1.barrysworld.com. It is basically available to anyone who peers with us via any of our feeds as there is no cost.

A list of ISPs etc are displayed when you attempt to connect to ftp.barrysworld.com (http://www.as21099.net/status/peering.php)

This ftp is limited to 400 anon users with NO download rate capping.

Heh...I downloaded the files first time from csnation at 7pm :)

I installed them and found that barrysworld hadn't updated :(

Had to uninstall/reinstall HL and CS to get a game :(

Half way through my game I get kicked off for the servers upgrading :(

/also strokes cable modem...but kicks self for being a dumass.

Well it is true i like Militia, but still i suppose if the hostages dont climb Ladders on Militia, they wont on any other map with ladders, and i suppose it will make more people play as a Terrorist because it will be easier once again.

I dont understand why nobody at VALVe was told about this :/

Ricochet is probably the worst mod I have played.

(this of course has nothing to do with the fact everyone kept laughing at me for falling off the platforms ;)
