HL 1110 and CS 1.5 problems

Ok 2 main problems with the new versions.

1) No sound, a couple of people in the office have sound others don't what has happened any one else had this?

2) Windows 95 machines are dropping back to the desktop when they try to join a game.

Any help appreciated.

I believe adding the line -nocdaudio to the command line in your shortcut fixes this.

A quick fix for the sound might be to esc twice, although I don't know why you wouldn't get sound in the first place.

On the second point, you got firewalls or AV software running, it might be that, with them being "office" machines have they got graphics cards? soz can't be more helpful.

win 95 - nuff said.

As for sound try hitting esc and then resuming, if my sound drops thats what I do and it brings it back, of course for some people it crashes their machine
