i'm a mid/exal player , now HOLD ON let me take it from start before u whine on me


i am gonna start a sorc + cleric now this weekend and wanna see if there are any friendly people left who wanna maybe exp with me ? NO i don't wan't pl before lvl 45...or ever really on my first chars

i just wanna explore alb classic and SI maybe with a few companions to show me around so i don't get lost etc haha


and maybe join in a friendly PvE ( with a small amount of RvR ) guild.

reason why i'm playing alb/pryd, cause i'm sick and tired of doing same stuff day out and day in , farming scrolls , exping arties, exping thi and that...i wan't to come back to where i had nothing and GAINED alot , that's what i'm mising out on ;(


so Pm me sometime around 22.00 cet on friday and you can maybe be the lucky one to show me around in alb

There are many nice people on this server, i'm sure you wont have any problem finding a "tour guide".

And i know how you feel at times, Daoc can be a constant struggle to "gain" and "gain some more". It is nice to see your taking a new path in the game.

Welcome to pryd, unfortunately you're gonna have a hellofa hard time exping to 45+ without PL these days, believe me

There are aproximately nobody in any classic places, theres' the occasional soloers here and there, sometimes people go keltoi/barrows and maybe lyonesse, but there aren't enough people to rely on positive exp groups

Ask anyone, most peep who make a new char now are pling to like lvl 45+ minimum with their necro or icewizz, its IMPOSSIBLE to get good groups.

The very few ammount of people who actually try go the normal way are either casual players (who levels 1 level a week etc), or just total newbs in free items and so on, you get the idea.

If you wanna level fast, just roll on a necro, exp exp exp to level 50 and PL you'rself to 45.

Sorry, but at the moment, its the best alternative these days. SI/TOA really sent the kill for classic/normal exp.

Try again m8, 99% percent of those in there wil answer you either of these options

1) Too low, you die insta <wherever we're going>
2) PLing
3) Too high, you steal exp from my PL alts
4) PLing
5) Guildgroup
6) PLing
7) Sry, Pling
8) Sod off
9) Pling
10) Full group
11) Pling
12) Sorry, need pally/icewizz
13) Pling

And the occasional group that lets you in dies cause they are wearing items from keltoi and another evening spoiled.

This is personal experience from leveling 4 or more chars in AC over the years.

It's not like im trying to kill your motivation or something, just want to prepare you to that it's gonna be hard while low level.

Its a pretty decent realm in general but as said earlier, u might have a bit of trouble leveling in the early levels (particularly as a sorc as most people will have fop bot these days to provide power regen).

Not around as much atm else id show u around the place a bit.

Feel free to pm if u need a little gold or some armour to get started though. Hope it goes well anyway

well i ain't starting only a sorc hehe i'm also starting my own cleric bb so i don't think i'll get that much trouble.


but as a fella that have lvled plenty ocf chars the hard way ( untill i got my hands on a friends SM , i think i'll manage


as for free stuff and gold cheers! but it won't be needed untill i hit 40+ hehe , i wan't this to be as i have started with nothing and gain everything so , ofc i will accept if u offer me 5g etc but not 200g and a full sc set 99% and so on...then i could just aswell transfer cash/items from mid/exal if i do that i loose the whole point in changing realm.


but well see i'm gonna play whole next weekend friday 21.00 cet - sunday 13.cet non stop so i think i'll get atleast lvl 30 solo or 35 in grp ( i'm hardcore when i can

You might want another name for your cleric as I believe Calondriel is taken by an inf

But otherwise welcome to Alb - its a nice enough place, and most of the people are pretty decent (except Sko ofc )and it isn't that hard to level here.

pm me in game if you need to xfer a little money to Alb Pryd from Mid Excal (although I'm not that rich atm) to get you started.

Gone are the days when people used to say "we need a sorc or mini for mana regen" in are the days of " we need a mini for speed". Out are the questions of "how much ench do you have?" in are the days of " do you have FoP?". Such is life for a classic alb.

Though if you get to lvl 25 ish lemme know and ill join you with my pally ... he left thid and got stuck on lvl 26

As a sorc you will be one of the best solo levelers in the game, so its a good idea to start one

Good to see persons that stil doesnt want PL.. i gave up on that ideal myself after my first 50

just wish i could bring back those good old days when lvling was fun and a person in epic was a big thing for me while i was runing around in camelot hills ;p
