He is 12 years old and plays quite a lot (too much!).

Wow, a brave man.

Honestly, given his age, I don't think this is the best place to try to recruit. Most players posting here are a fair bit older.

What he could do, this is how most people get recruited, is find a server that clan players regularly play on, and pick that as his "local". Chat a bit, show off your skills, and you should get picked up eventually.

On a serious note... do as Itcheh says - best way to find a clan to suit YOURself...

That way you can get to know the other players before making the leap of joining, etc.
