Play a caster, its easy to work out what you have.

At level 50 you have 2 hitpoints...

..Buffed :)

BTW saw Grimbane in Hug the other day and was racking my brain trying to remember who it was.

Damn, I've forgotten again. I'll get back to you on that one.

rogue :10con = 32hits @ lvl 50

Pure Melee = 4hp / Con
Rogue = 3.6 hp / Con (includes all hybrid classes)
Caster = 3.2 hp / Con

That's at 50 I assume Solid, it's less at lower levels.

well, with a little math its obvious Solid :p

my infil has 70 con at starting level (briton with 10 extra)

that, after your nombers, should give me these HP at 50:

3.6x70x50=12600

MAN i'd love to have 12600 hitpoints :D

How they DO calculate it, i dont know. but its not your way :)

Roo - you have 2 Hitpoints???

- Dang I knew i'd chosen the wrong Realm to play a Caster - I have 1HP (rounded up). - I'm assuming fractions count??

lol Liste u must be misunderstood

3.6 hp / con = 3.6 hit points per Con point you gain over your base naked stats.

So at level 50 when I add an item that gives me +10 Con my total hp rises by 36 hits. When a Shaman buffs me for 75 Str/Con, my total hp raises by 270 hits

Danyans prolly right bout it being less at lower levels (he is always right) but at level 50 that is how many hp each extra con gives those classes

Didn't shadowblades get some kind of little con/hits bump at some point though? The VN whiners are always going on about how they have more hp than Thanes.

yer that was level based tho, ie they got a bigger dump of hp gain when they ding, making their naked stats higher than thanes naked stats at each level.

Here's the formula to calculate hp (according to the author it's max 1% inaccurate, but he's still comparing data to find the exact formula):

Total_HP = 20 + Base*Level*(100% + 0.5%*(CON-50))

where Base depends of the class :
Pure melee classes => Base=17.5 (=> +0.087HP/+1CON/Level)
Hybrids/rogues => Base=14.33 (=> +0.072HP/+1CON/Level)
Base for Mystics is still under examination.
