is there a way that i can jump higher than just the normal jump?theres so many places you just cant get to with out being able to jump higher......

yes 
its called a rocket jump, jump and fire a rocket towards the floor, then be propled into the air, just make sure u hlt is above ~60 before doing it
also look in the tread about the chat icon thingy, cos someone ("sowat" i think) as kindly included a script for r-jumping.
PS if u are fealing really adventurous, u can do the same kind of thing with grennades (well SOME PPL can, cos ill be fucked with a rubber duck if i can).

Does "double jumping" still work in Q3?
My mouse is screwed in win2k, so I can't even do it in Q2 at the moment, so haven't got any hope of trying it out in Q3.
The basic method (Q2): jump up a step and then jump again immediately, as you meet the lip of the step.
Failing that, RJ like sjp says
(personally I disapprove of RJ scripts, since they take away some of the fun/skill, but each to his/her own)

Actually, unless you're fully armoured and healthed, don't try rocket jumping with the quad. You will indeed fly into outer space, but in little bits
