Hibs oust GOA as main cause of peeps leaving DAOC

WTG hibs. You are now without doubt the biggest bunch of lame zerging mile-g8 huggers in the history of this server.
What is more depressing is that you seem to do so shamelessly for hours in a row.
For the last few days all you do is all hold hands zerg to amg in emain, open ur thermos flask and settle down for mutual back slapping.

I suspect that this zerg consists of the usual bunch of fair-weather rather imcompetent members of ur realm who lack the skill or courage to roam and test their skills against other roaming fg's (this is true of zergs of all nationalities).

I know there are a few truly skilled and adventurous hibs out there because i meet them (novamir etc and others whose names you will forgive me for not remembering). It is a pleasure to fight kill, or be killed by these players.

But you zergers are killing the game... Albs (and mids i imagine) are faced with 3 options when u uberzerg at the mileg8s for hours in a row.
1) Zerg back.. NO thankyou . I will not sink to ur level.
2) Go to to the waste lands of the mid and alb frontiers.... But theres rarely any regular fun there... particularly as hibs wont go there EVEN as a zerg.
3) Log off.... Which is what many players have been doing for the past 2 days.

Carry on like this hibs, and few and fewer players will bother logging back on. Then u'll be left playing with yourselves, but then thats probably an apt description for ur current zerging activities.

Come on hibs. Prove me wrong. Prove to me that you are as great as you claim to be on these boards. Stop playing wih yourselves and get roaming. I can't beleive the GM's of ur guilds / alliances (of which some are noteworthy) actually think that zerging reflects well on ur guilds.

firstly its our frontier, we are allowed to protect our domain as is nessecary

secondly its not just hibs that dont go to other realms for rvr, but the other realms dont turn up either most the time

thirdly only recently have i ever been in a hibbie zerg, as most of the time it has been mids or albs zerging

fourthly i will emphasise the fact that this is hibernias frontier land, so if to protect it we must zerg so be it, the walls are there for hibs to defend from, not to be camped by attackers

Sorry m8, but if the hibs choose to keep us scum out who are we to critisise? It may mean the emphasis of the game shifts away from free for all zerging with no actual strategic purpose other than to earn peeps rp, but if this is the case I'll be the first to salute them

It's just a pity most Albs are too lazy to take pride in their own frontier as it takes more effort to get to your own frontiers mfg's than it does to put a medallion on. Mind you, this does mean we can have DF access whenever we want it by popping as many Alb keeps as we want without local interference - so I won't knock it too much

Go to Odin's ect, so far, when i been leveling my toon,

I get lots of death spam there, Soloing Vendo's outside, for the great camp bonus,

Tons of death spam comeing from Odin's,
Like i saw a Spam of Elfslayer killed 3 people

And as we all know, Elf Slayer is a level 50 Cabalist from Albion,
and the people he killed were all level 50,

So Action does happen, Emain is just a zerg feast, thats why most of the people looking for a new fight, go to the other fronteirs, and i think its a good thing,

And i hope more Actions goes on at Odin's

Once u have ousted a zerg it's hard to break up the zerg your side developed to do so. the sheep mentality has set in. As soon as any one grp tries to roam off you can be pretty sure the others are gonna follow. It's a knock on effect, if you don't zerg us then we wont zerg back and we'll all have the fun rvr that is grp v grp combat. But once the ball has started rollin it's pretty damn hard to stop it again.

Ofcourse, I wont complain about hibs defending their own frontier. Im glad they do otherwise it could easily get too boring being there. But its also pretty damn boring that whenever I go to emain theres almost always a zerg of either mids or hibs standing at the other side aoe nuking the doors not letting anything through.. Gets really boring fast not being able to get out in the open, just sitting there waiting for someone to attack them from behind to be able to slip through. Wouldnt you agree too that bottleing everyone up by the milegate can get tedious fast? Especially when u chainnuke the doors..

Can't really say much about hibs zerging...that's all albs do. I say this an alb; all we do is zerg, extreamly rearly will you see uf in single grps hunting down other single groups. Teleport to emain and the gate of the TK you will hear "wait for zerg, amg camped." How many times have we camped amg or mmg with 20+ people? Many, countless times, that's for sure. Untill you yourself can HONESTLY say I have never been a part of a zerg, it is not your place nor your right to judge the hibs for zerging.

Have you been playing on the same server as the rest of us for the past six months? But if your silly tantrum is correct and this is going to make dozens of the high level albs quit the game entirely... then great, because that's what it would take to bring the realm numbers to something like fairness.

sorry but those stats mean bugger all......50% of those people in alb arn't even out of school yet and are never arround during day or later on at night.....only a few hours they online...most of them are probably inactive players also =/ can tell u this i do /who all every time i get killed in emain and the most i have ever seen (talking since this time last year) is about 800 peeps....which is what of 8000? 10%? your have more higher lvls in rvr than us, better classes and u can get zergs and yet u accuse us?

tbh i love fighting mids much more than hibs cus its usually equal numbers now days they re grp mmg come in force albs do same etc..with hibs its like 5fg+ 2fg of which is CC and casters....sick playing vs them

This is our realm, and this is how WE choose to defend it..
If you dont like it, DONT come to Emain..
Simple as that, if you send 10fg to defend your realm I wouldnt complain, we are sick and tired of being fucked over every single day by 5/6FG of Albs taking crauch then holding it, then attacking Crim drawing us to the Bowl/AMG then zerging us..
Goto Odins if you dont like the zerg, oh wait theres no RP's there.. duh stop whinging the more Hibs there are the more RP potential there is for you.

Well as a scout with patience, i will sit at atk and wait until
hibs come to have a look. Then i will pop a few who gets too close, and then when you leave, count my rp

Fun RvR nah, but i can watch tv and do other stuff meanwhile.

Lately i have been to odins at lot. Better RvR there, but often now
some hibs come to amg odins and camp. And when they leave Killgorde and co will take over.

In alb frontier there will sometimes be enemies, but most of the time you fight there it will taste of farming. Keepfarming against
30 camping hibs or mids. Towerfarming against 10 ae nukers.

It has nothing to do with protecting your realm to camp milegates.
Its simple farming, because if all 800 albs online decided to attack
your realm they would get through. One single 'scout' could observe and prevent major assaults on your realm.

How to getpast any Hib zerg which may be waiting at AMG (and yes we do do it, although we can't zerg as big as Albion, we do do them).

1. Send up one of the 20,000 infiltrators you guys have to take a look.

2. Wait for 10 minutes or so until ...

3. Mids charge the waiting Hibs from the rear, resulting in heavy casualities.

4. Slip through in the confusion and ...

5. Try and find one of a few Hib groups that know how to play, so you can get owned on a 8 vs. 8 basis

6. Come to Barrysworld and post "Nerf Hibs" again.

7. Please don't bother if you have a good Sorcerer in your team, try Darkness Falls or camping Yggdra instead, please.
