Hello all and if you dont know me ill tell you who i am.I started to play DAoC on USA Servers on Lancelot with a few Friends Lanvar / Bowran and other players likes Rhymes..
When the Europe Version of DAoC went online ( Not Beta ) all our friends from www.4fgs.net and a few other good Friends thought we would start a Guild on the Europe Servers and we did and called our Guild Na Fianna.
So off we set on first day of Release we got and begged 8 players to join our Guild and N Fianna were born ( means Old School Irish Warriors and was an Apt name as most players from the Guild came from Ireland in Rl ). These Early Days were great we had so much fun leveling through our early levels helping the Guild Grow whenever we could Then one day Lanvar and myself met with a Guild called Celtic Fist with alot of High players that seemed to play alot as we did ourselves and a great friendship was born Celtic Fist Welcomed us with open arms..
Balnor was the GM of Celtic Fist and a very nice Fellow he was with Power players like Gaya Cuthervian and MW Rip we always got a great group it was like one big big family.Novamir i first met Through leveling and just before the 1.45 patch we took a few Midgard Keeps just to show that we could and we were having fun then Balnor asked us to join the CF /as which was easy because we were having so much fun..
Na Fianna in this time as a Guild were getting stronger and stronger as the levels went up Fiannas Rep was going well also ( as any good Guild will tell you Rep means alot ingame ) but that did not mean much to us as we were having alot of FUN.
Soon after Balnor of CF was never to been seen again Cuthervian / Gaya / Ebleassir and alot of other CF were busting there Balls to be the first to get Level 50 on the Hibernia Sever on Excalibur and i did not complain as this was a great way for me to get my Bard from levels 1 to 45 and why should i complain i was having fun and Na Fianna were doing well and all in all life was sweet.
Then it all went wrong Cuthervian level 50 Ding GRATZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Tylar next day Ding 50 GRAT ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Motorhead Ding Kaniz Ding and so on and so forth ...Then Ding Machiavelli ( first Elf) / Nicky 50 ( second Bard / Lanvar 50 First Warden / Trapp First level 50 Ranger ( Uber Btw ) and then Matinex / Lofff and some others and Na Fianna had become the Strongest Guild on Excaliber / Hibernia..
What seemed to happen on Hibernia after that was all the first level 50s Cuth / Tylar / and all the others i have talked about ( Except Novamir who is without Doubt the best tank this game has ever seen ) R v R ed there balls of in the Teza Vain then went hold on a moment this is fun but not as good as i thought it would be at level 50 and i agree.
You may be wondering what this post is all about and i will be doing the same one day but as for now and i think it is in the other Realms as well new players and leaders are comming through but one thing that i want to share to you all is this and my N0 1 Probelm with this game atm is IRC...
If you all join Quakenet uk #Celticfist Irc you will see all High Nolby Pride / Celticfist / and MANY MANY other Players From your Realm Talking in there about all aspects of the game which is ok for some people but not for me ( i have been in there a few times yes but ) and to make matters worse once people play Hib level 50 chars from Mid and Vice Versa how can players from level 40 to 50 play there chars up and work out how to have fun when alot of raids are being worked out in advance its just not fair..

Thats it from me for about now and one last thought Hatchet Harry Really did get alot of stick from many many players in Hibernia and from myself... Now TBH he had more of and idea how this game should work than the level 50 wannabies that i see or umm i dont see around anymore also if anyone from Midgard and Albion read this try and take our Relics loads of high players have left ...Wuren / Lofff and a lot a lot more but ca you do it without a freinds Irc on the go i dont think so ...

Ill be around..TBH in the last Two weeks Na Fianna have tried to organise 2 Relic Raids and they have not worked how do you expect us to help you and be interested in your raid when you are leveling your alts or worse letting other players from other Realm use your accounts and say you are bored and just having fun ....I will come back if only i thought Hibernia had a chance but atm it has no fucking hope with lack of interest from long respected players..

as for hibs letting mids play there chars and vice versa . as us albs knew all along you just kiss each others asses . doesnt make any difference if they can c your gc/ac etc etc cos they wont attack your relics cos you to far up each others asses

FYI, some mids also play alb chars that makes albs the people who are up troll's asses, who are up firby asses, so albs = inside two huge asses!

There were 2 reasons why I 'left'. First was to do with my old mmorpg that I came from - Ultima online. My house and possessions still remain there, and under new game rules they were soon to be removed. Can't let 3yrs of stuff just vanish like that.

Secondly, GOA like I always said, killed the game for me. The inhability to pull out patches at a decent rate will kill the game for me and many others. No MMORPG can be a ever evolving world when we get patches every 5-6months, thats an utter joke. If speed of translation continues, then others will be hit by the boredom factor fast. The game needs new content to keep and hold the players interest.

Once anyone hit lv50, you see the game for what it truly is. Yeah its fun for a while, but deep down you know the truth, i'll leave it upto you all to work it out. None of us (Cuth, Tylar, Eleasias, Wuren, myself, Motor) rushed our way upto the high 40's. We just formed solid groups on a daily basis as you already know. I had my fun, we saw everything, and we died tons of times. We all had a laugh.

I never really left, and will be back soon after we get patched up. My only problem is, that patch does very little to change ones mind. 1.49 and Darkness falls along with the lv50 epics is the main one we'd all like to see right now.

Rushing to level sucks and no-one should do it.. Only reason I level is that I help people out a bit.. Was soloing in cursed forest a bit yesterday and well, had amazing fun there running around all the orange+ aggro looking for that yellow that I could solo..

Even got tells from 'what the hell are you doing there alone?' 'hunting '

Although I can see why being stuck at a particular level can be extremely frustrating :\

I personally have a problem with ppl using irc also but can't see how it can be stopped tbh. Stop the use of irc and u get rid of x teaming, x realm acct swapping, and other crap going on atm. And stfu any Albs who want to start giving it cheating Hibs blah blah, cos ur up to ur necks in it too.

As for ppl leveling alts, I think that is just something that is gonna happen. I play Cadwyr maybe 5 hours a day and my alt just 2 hours tops. Can't see the point in spending all those played days leveling up just to rvr an hour or so a day then log ur alt in a sulk if u get killed once or twice.

Ppl seem to think once u get to level 50 thats it ur uber. It's bollocks, u just die a lil less than u did b4 and u get to kill more ppl b4 mez,root, zerg. Alot of it is to do with ppl's expectancy of what level 50 is like. It's also lack of things to do if there aren't enough ppl to hook up with in emain.

Don't be in too much of a rush to get level 50, and don't expect a whole lot from it. Karam thinks he is gonna rock at level 50 but he is still gunna suck big time

i couldnt hurry to 50 i if i tried im getting there eventually though, and getting my realm ranks eventuall 14.5k till rr3 wonder if i can manage rr4 or even rr5 before i reach 50 heh

i also knwo several hibs and mids playing highlevel alb chars, so would you kindly please remove your head from your arse and take your accusations to some other place?

and as for nickys post, after i leveled 50 i still played for some time in rvr, crafted some, tried to get some items and helped others with exp

casual rvr in excalibur got boring after running to emain without bard speed for several times and the ngetting instakilled, repeat couple times, get bored

started a skald alt to have my own speed and own instaspells i used to hate so much, and am having quite alot of fun

hibernia on excalibur lacks a leader, i would be more than happy just to join a keep takeover from exping my skald, or a relic raid even, but nothing seems to be happening

most of the time im at #celticfist and several other channels regarding eu daoc, so i can be reached at any time, in my opinion we dont lack the ppl, some highlevels "quit" but i bet they would still join a raid

the first serious relic raid attempt i was involved was planned by Zana, plan was good, we had alot of ppl involved in the planning, meeting place was set, rams were set... but when we got to the meeting point, waited a great deal of time, we just realized only one third of the ppl who promised to show up came, the relic raid was a failure

ppl just dont listen to "authority" even if such a thing doesnt really exist in hibernia, nilo who used to play on hib here, just lead a succesfull relic raid on alb/pryd taking all three str relics from mids at one time, when nilo tried to do the same thing on hib earlier, the whole army was spread around the damn realm running for lowcons in hope of easy rp, it just doesnt work if ppl wont stick together and do as "ordered"

just like i understood from other posts, finster got bored of being the leader only few really listened to, and just quit

I don't really see peoples problem with Irc - it's much more fun when i can switch to Irc after being ganked in emain and have a laugh with the alb/mid who just killed me, or can curse at them - it's somehow like sitting together in a tavern having a beer together after a football game against each other, and i can't see anything bad about that.
Actually it improves my fun i have within this game ( as long as the irc-factor is not being abused, which it probably was before, but i think it was some kind of experimenting and it is over now).

About account-exchange: it's wrong when you get any inside information in this way, but it sure is a great experience and helps you to see the game from another point of view i think ( never shared my login yet and won't do it in the future)

about the problem with the lvl 50s: when i was racing to 50 there was almost nothing which was able to get me away from our xp-group ( except for albs bashing at Crim-doors perhaps). Now that I'm 50 i maybe want to do some large-scale RvR, but for that you need lots of players, and guess where those are: at the very same xp-spot i was before, and can't be bothered to leave it for the very same reasons I didn't leave it before ( and how could I blame them ?).
So the downside of being an early lvl 50 is the lack of company up there, so it takes some patience, and if you show that we Hibs might be able to pull something off ( and that sooner than our enemies might think )
Lets say big steps are being planned in Hibernia, and you Nicky and NF are a part of those plans, so please don't leave us now

i dont care if albs play mid/hib chars if they do ill have the same disrespect for them for doing so as i do hibs/mids . but the BIG difference is hib and mid are allied and both do anything they can to get one over on the albs ,, albs are hated by hibs and mids but hibd and mids are always kissing upto each other , and thus target the albs for all there aggresion on the rvr front . they tend to leave each other out of the big raids constantly . only time mids/hibs raid each other is when they take bledmeer/crauch etc etc . the thing is im not having a go at hibs.mids i having a go atall lame asses wholets enemy realm players use there high lvl chars . and thus enabling them to see gc/ac etc etc .. as for albs cheating same again i wis they would fuck of n get there accounts banned . but from whats ive read on boards is only 4 albs been found doin so "with proof anyway#2 and to those 4 i do hope they get banned regardless of there standing in the albion comunity

though i do not know anyone with accounts on 2 realms in real life one of my ingame pals recently confessed to having a hibs char .
now i never ask him to check whats going on in hibs as it just kills the fun and i expect him not to do the same in hibs.
really there is little you can do about it as its his/her cash.also some household may have 2 people that want to play on different realms .
i think it happens a lot on all servers including usa ones but there the seems to be tighter control and more GMs so people talk about it less open.

Reason US Daoc is doing so well is because their realms are proper ever elvolving worlds. They get patches very frequently adding new content and new features which is what is required to keep the players attention.

Euro Daoc=erm patch every 5months, ever elvolving realms? Nope. Don't blame anyone who plays on US tbh. You can't run a successful mmorpg if you add content every 3-5months, thats where Goa are screwing up and losing players.
