well lads we did well :)

we set up a cg, we followed one line of chat (through use of caps) and we kicked ass !! after 2 hours of rp farming and very hard group co-ordination (do 40 hibs really need to chase 3 trolls?) we got it together only to find that a lords room isnt as easy as we have seen in the past :)

i wasnt perfect at taking us to glory but i'd like to think we all learned that when we move together we all get 10000rps a night and the benefits from that are well worth the patience and co-operation!!

good luck to the next time we do it :)

Usually when Crim/Bolg gets taken, I set up a cg, go to Breifine/Emain, coordinate about 4-5fg hibs to take the keeps -meanwhile trying to talk people out of the silly idea to camp amg- and after taking Crauchon, I get out of the cg asap. And then I try to get 1-2fg to stick together so we can do some real RvR. Moving around in such a big mob is sometimes a necessary evil, but as soon as it's no longer needed, I prefer splitting up into smaller groups.

A big group is slow, tedious, dumb and reckless. Never mind the rps (and for those who do care: with a good single group you get tons more rps). You can have the most brilliant of plans, but it takes 1 guy to shout something stupid to wreck it. The bigger the mob, the simpler your commands have to be if you want people to follow em. Can be nice, but generally I'm looking for something more subtle.

But I must admit: there have been times that I lead a cg with 5fg, and every group leader was willing to listen to what I had to say, and people were patient enough to try some subtle strategy and tactics. It was quite a rush to see how effective that was ( ; So I understand your enthousiasm (;

Ofcourse if it goes wrong then, everybody knows exactly who to blame :p But luckily there's way more tolerant people ingame than the average post on these forums would suggest ( ;

Yeah, an enjoyable jaunt to emain.

A clear chain of command with instructions in caps for all to see like:- 'GO MMG NOW' helped keep people coordinated.

and /salute the defenders at dun crauchon... must work on lord room tactics, now where did I put that negative mailstrom....

Plz remember that there is NO collision detection in game, u DON´T need to face the enemies to hit em T_T

Vs albs... They got only a couple of ae users and no pbers, mids would have owned them sooo easy.

Tip: use decoy (rez sick ppl) to draw aes a bit lower on stairs while main force charge on and get inside lord room if possible, concentraded ae kills, separated ae only hurts. With decoys targetted most aeers won´t got enough time to react till tanks r on them. First interrupt aers and then pbers charge in, job´s done.

Remeber no collision detection = freedom of movement.

:D thanks for the tip, defending the lord of a keep is often the highlight of an RvRing day due to the ridiculous number of rps that can be gained from AEing :) bring it on

That tip´s 4 hibbies, not 4 albs. Defending Vs albs it´s just pb, fast kill :>
