Ok now with this patch and no more sword blades and hammer heads themetalworking menu has shrunk drastically (unlike the woodworking menu which looks like an IKEA catalogue).

However, while the 4 trinkets are there with appropriate skills for tiers of materials what are:

tempered metal studs, tempered wire and tempered scales?

Each tier of material seems to be at skill 0

Might be somethign to do with armourcrafting but not sure.

Can anyone shed any light?

it to temper your scales (hib), studs (alb?) and wires (mid?) to make them something wirth at least again.

all old, now non-usable, tier 1-5 scales sell to 1/4 of metal price at merchants, the tier 6-10 scales sell for 1/2 of the metalprice.

tempering them brings them back to the same price as hinges, so you make only 3% loss or so when you wanna get rid of your scales

pity it still stacks in 20 only, so you will get out with some leftovers, but better than nothing.

/em is lucky now, that he could sell his 200 arcanite scale for 1plat
