Hib classes..equality?

Is there any great disparity between the Hib classes and the Mids/Albs please?................or is it only because of the lack of numbers that make the Hibs I have met appear so weak. I have little experience playing against Hibs, I have played mostly on Thid with Albion classes up to now and the Hibs are few and far between there but any I have met do not appear to measure up to the Mid classes. As I am thinking of playing Hib on Prywden it would be nice to know that the Hib classes at least measure up to the other two realms. Thank you.

Its nothing wrong with hib classes, infact they can make better groups then the albs utility wise its just the lack of numbers against the amount of alb zergers. Also i think hib is more fg based since they rather do that then mindless zerging.

Hib imo is the best realm but i dont play it due to the lack of people and rvring in thid is a joke no chance against mid/alb zergs never even tried to get to 50 due to no groups about.

most people go alb because it s the nmesake of the game (ie: camelot . king arthur , knights in shining armor etc etc) . i think they go mid cos they like the sound of being a viking sorta class or norseman/troll/kobold. and great class names..

whereas i think hib lacks being as well known as vikings n camelot etc. hence they get people join them last.. hence smallest population on MANY servers...

it aint the classes themselves tho. cos as said above hib can and prolly do have the strongest FG setup if optimised.

when i started game i went on mid/excal cos my mate played there.
i went alb/pryd because scout attracted me. i always loved chars like that. but was impossible to lvl up as my 1st char so i ended up making a paladin which i wub :wub:
but when i 1st started i was v wanting to go hib tbh. NS sounded really kool. and the animist sounded funny but the attraction of scout was to much for me. even tho pryd was gonna be my test server so i could try both but ended up loving alb so i stuck wit it. also i met loadz of nice people in my 1st 2days so didnt wanna leave

Hib is good, but mid is just silly classwise. Anything you play after midgard is going to seem a bit weak.

hib has been the best realm overall the past 3years. but the last few patches mid has been just a bit better.
now with toa and hibs CC more or less fuckedup id say they are pretty even with albion but having a lesser population they cant zerg as good as the others ;<

Interesting is even tho hibs are underdogs on the 2 biggest US servers (Lancelot and Merlin) and get extra rp's and xp for each kill, they totally own the realm war. Just check stats and who got all the relics

What this man said. Nothing wrong with Hib classes in general (are a few exceptions as in any Realm) or the Hib Realm as a whole.

albs and hibbs are pretty balanced, hibb have mebe a tiny bit more utility in any given group, but only 50% the numbers. Midgard is off the scale in terms of balance, and have numbers not that far off from Alb numbers.

when i started playing daoc i went pryd/alb.
1st car i made was pala uke: (deleted)

i joined excal/hib becuse i saw how hibbies where kicked around in pryd so now playng hib.


best part in hib is we dont ZERG (atleast not much).

i think hibbies can stand against mids and albs as they stand against us.
in hib u need more skill than in alb (they zerg most of the time) where u dont need alot of skill.
