Hib class - Help me choose please :)

Right. I have moved from alb pryd for a bit. I have chosen a few classes but i need one to do first.
My lieks are thus -
LW Champ
S+S Hero
NS
Ranger
Void Eldey

On albion i played paladin and loved it. I have all of the above classes maded and just cant choose one. I dont care if they are gimp specs (void eld).
I want a good first time hib character that will do well in RvR. Out of the above. which would be advisable for someone learning about the ways of hibernia and be able to have a larf in RvR. (im not a n00b to the game just hib).

well it's dependant on what playstyle you like, imo hero would be best chouice as mages are pretty gimped those days, and pecially voidies ;P

If you like soloing choose ns or ranger.

champs ok too but hero get better RAs.

I plan on doing Void eld, Ns and Hero really. prolly do Hero 1st, then simultaniously NS and eldy

My first char was a void eld and I loved it, the changes in 1.62 may make it more viable as an rvr character..., if not you will still be excellent in mg/keep battles, strong against uber boss mobs pve, and a dream at solo. Personally you couldnt pay me money to play any mage in rvr atm...

Imo, from your list, s/s Hero is the best choice for rvr. Slam shield style is very usefull both for attack and defence, you can block multiple people attacking your groups bard/druid and take a hell of a pounding before you go down.
Oh and a s/s hero is the perfect tank for pve, which is handy.

ofc if you have the patient to solo, good friends or a buffbot you could conisder ranger/ns, but I would not recommend them as a first character.

Anyway, make a hero or a void eld imo. A LW champ is a big NO NO, unless you wanna win some duels ofc
