I just saw the fastest Celt with a club I ever seen, Ligeia
came running past me in Gorge at a speed around mach 3,
no serious she used some kind of cheat, kinda jumped forward in a rate 2 or 3 times the fastest skald speed.

where do u report this ?
didnt find anything about that on Rightnow..

No it was not lag, since 1min b4 the ppl around me moved normal, when it happend I had 3 green lights, and I did have 3 green lights after it too.
and if it was lag, she would have stood still while I lagged, then move, jump yes but not that quick.
and the mobs around us move normaly.
I know what lag looks like and I know that lag didnt cause that.

from beetle pawn to beginning of entrance valley in less then 4 sec ? lag or cheat ?

You havent speed the final bard speed song combinded with another bard with endurance on?

Speed + Unlimited Endurance + Sprint = Insane Speeds

Could be the answer...

probably just the "elastic band" lag which is common even when you dont have lag. You see someone flash by when really theyre still down the other end somewhere and havent ran past at all.

Id say its lag yes or else id have to accuse lots of peps for flying around in the air then dissapearing there :p

Ok the 1 I saw was grey @ 41 and alone so no strange combos.
It wasnt lag if it's lag It should stil take just as long time as with out lag IRL, lag doesnt reduce the IRL time it take to travel.

and btw is it rightnow I use to report it ?

Humm I today saw a nightshade called Muirne, in the Crim valley, stealthed besides me both going towards Crim, then she unstealthed and ran *very* fast out of clipping range, and there werent any other players aroudn except the huge alb grp ;<

Don't think you've seen the highest speedsong+sprint. I used it for the first time today and instead of charging a mid army at the wall, I stormed past it and had to run back.

This game will soon become like the CS Forums where when someone gets 0wned the victim cries cheat right away.

I've seen the highest speedsong + sprint
I've seen the highest Hunter speed buff + sprint
I saw a gray ( less then lvl27 ) go faster then any of those 2 combos, and she was alone not a single person around, unstealthed that is, and I dont know of any stealthed hib class that have group speed buff.
I know what I saw and I know that it wasnt either lag or speed buff

Ultimately all you can do if you suspect someone cheating is to report via RightNow. I'd prefer if people did this discretely rather than posting across the boards, in case of innocence. But it is inevitable that cheats will become more widespread as time passes. However, speedhacks and other such blatantly obvious cheats are for the terminally stupid anyway (obvious to observers and log analysers alike). It is the more insidious cheats that are a real problem as they are undetectable at the victims end (such as windowing daoc and using mob/enemy map overlays)

Where there are games...there are cheats. GOA and the community have a responsibility to make sure this game does not turn out like CS.

Ok ill defend myself

First i never use club and second im sure the day u see me, was the sunday in the morning day that i was in Tir na nog and i fall down for a gate to the infinite sky then the console say that i had entered in cruachan gorge and finally LD. I was laughing 30 min i never see it before but i think that somethings like this and the dwarf hunters never must be discovered

Died once in emain at alb wall (least a month ago), /released, loaded in Mbeo, then just as mbeo flashed up, it ported me directly back to alb wall with ress sik.

same thing happend to 2-4 of our party, but not to the others.

bizzare.
