Hullo there! Although I have been a DaoC player for the better part of two years now, I took an "unpaid sabbatical" (or more accurately an enforced sabbatical due to Internet Subscriptions being unpaid) which coincided with the introduction of ToA. I have also only recently stumbled upon the Freddies House forums (hello everyone by the way!).
My "delayed" introduction to ToA in particular has left me feeling a little frustrated, as I really don't want to lag as far behind as I seem to be doing in working my way through the Master Levels. I would like to point out that I am not a power player ( Hello? AVALONIAN PALADIN HERE!!!), but I DO like being useful to groups I participate in in PvE Raids and RvR, and don't want to just feel like I am taking up a group space that would better be filled by someone with more abilities.
Anyway, enough waffle... I have noticed that the ML Raid posts here are predominantly aimed at the higher ML's (5+), and I assume part of the reason for this is that many ML1-4 Raids happened in the early days of ToA's release and that most keen-types have "moved onwards and upwards" by now. I have, by hook or by crook, managed so far to complete ML 1.1-1.9, and have (with my friend Azraal) got a gem and mirror for use with ML1.10. So I was wondering:
1) Are people interested in going on a ML1.10 Raid this Sunday (23rd May), starting at around 6pm UK time? If so it would be helpful if a few kind people who have already done it once or twice to volunteer to come along and give us pointers.
2) Would it be worth my trying to organise a group of people interested in a slow-but-steady regular progression through the Master Levels for others in a similar situation to myself (Late Starter in ToA, and regular 9-5 worker who can only really make weekday evening Raids starting after 7.30pm)?
Any feedback or comments would be most appreciated... I am also a Grandmaster Alchemist and would be prepared to brew any potions needed for a Raid in advance and at Cost Price for Raid members.
P.S. Its nice to have finally found a room to rent in Freddies House. Sorry I missed you guys for so long.
