As i think ml1 is needed for alot atm, i would like to ask someone to plan a raid in the NEAR future.... if anyone got the time for it, that would be GREAT :touch: :touch: :touch:

Why don't you take the initiative and lead it yourself? You'll get to claim an item, and learn how to do it for the future, also plenty of people will be grateful. Its not that difficult to lead, just check here and you can't go far wrong.

I have been planning my debut of leading ml raids. So ill take this opportunity to say ill be leading ML1 in the next few days, just need to wait until tomorow to see how the holidays are planned out with rl things, dont want to organize my first ml raid that I cant turn up too :/

Anyway, since Im hopefully going to start leading ML raids, my focus will be on completion speed. My rules wont differ from most, with a few exceptions.

Things like,
/bg lootlevel 45 will be set, so no scroll drops will be in the lotto, its down to the groups that do the most damage, which imo is a little more fair, the less afk they are the bigger their advantage. This maybe unfair you say since formed groups of less opted classes will mean a poor chance at getting scrolls, but as it is now, the system is just as unfair, letting for example somebody afk through a whole raid just to win the lotto at the end.

no rogs will be lottoed, I dont have a salvager so its not for my benefit, ill give them out, or destroy them or whatever.

Of course regular loot will be lottoed and will be a FFA, with /random 1000 highest wins ect..


We wont wait on ld's unless its in some area that is dangerous (ie ml3, ect).

I wont talk to you in BG, I wont respond to PM's, ill turn bg listen on 3 minutes before each step and explain instructions, so people have plenty of warning.

Too often these days I see leaders holding up raids to argue with somebody, this wont happen. If you guys act as sheep and mess up the encounter for a few people, unfortunately ill try grant as many people before moving on, if at the end sufficient ammount of people want to redoo a paticular step we will then do it.

Remeber these raids are about speed, the first time I did ML's I enjoyed them but now while I dont hate them, id rather just get the steps done and be out of there. We will take every shortcut possible, no waiting around ect.. anyway ill make the post tomorow about when ml1 is on,

ML 1 is the easiest of all MLs to lead, its only 5 steps and with the normal zrg that turns up these days is very quick to do.

Melachi, your raid is begging for trouble m8, think about why other leaders run things the way they do:

In your words unfair, FOTM groups will form of 3 PBers, 1 healer, 1 shaman, 1 tank and rob everyone else of the raids, if you CBA to lotto, then designate someone else lootholder and leave it to them each raid. SB's, hunters, Thanes, Valkys and other toons will loose out to these groups.

People like Vav and Chron get their good names by thinking of others in their raids, LDs are not something that can be helped. Peeps dont all have uberPCs, have poor connections or simply get boned by Opentranshite, it doesnt take skill to zerg an ML, but it takes a great deal of planning and forethought by the leader to see all get it. You leave 1 LD behind, some of his group will wait, then others, then other will have to return to res and you end up wasting more time than you would waiting 3 mins.

Not communicating with your bg is a mistake too, especially to people who have never done steps before, or during some like 7.8 where Kelatori will WTFPWN a BG in a matter of seconds. Turning it onto listen only can and will lead to mass frustration, as with anything in this world, if you dont understand, its human nature to ask.

This is purely advice, dont take it the wrong way, but Chron and Vav both (and others too) lead great raids, and all follow the same basic ruleset, and always get praise for their efforts.

I think you misunderstood what I wrote, I simply said Scrolls will not be in the lotto, all other drops will be still be sent to the treasurer for lottoing in the end, just not scrolls.

I know exactly what you mean here but again I think you misunderstood me. I wont wait for an LD if its easy for people to make their way back to the zerg, because we can simply grant credit if they miss one. We will of course wait for ld's if there is alot of aggro around for example on Ml3/6 ect.. or at the docks in ml5.

Sorry this my fault I didnt explain what i meant accuretly. I will of course communicate with people, however I will not pay any attention what so ever to people asking dumb questions, flaming ect that goes on all the time, I wont waste the bg's time by standing still because im replying to someone when its not neccesary.
