I don't know if anyone recognizes my name.. i'm that briton infiltrator who always charges in and usually kill one person and then get mobbed and killed.

I'd just like to say hello to a few people.

Smildorf - You sat on my face, I sat on yours. Guess we're even you ugly little white-bearded thing. Thanks for being a brave mid through those late nights! I'll miss you, dammit!

Midland - My favourite dwarfie lady. What did you say that time when i lay dead by your pk and you came to look at me? "Strange motions" means you did some kind of emote, right? Cheers for staying up so late those nights too!

Mjollnir - You're honourable, i'll give you that. But it's really time you bite the dust you big ugly troll. I'll get you yet!

Hugh - Do you have a past as a certain mad friar?

Layya (sp?) - Thanks for the curtsey <bows back> If i could bring myself to kill you (i have a soft spot for small people), I'll make your death quick and painless I promise.

Quark - Thanks for the hilarious melee we had behind your advancing hib army. They didn't even notice you going down! <comforts> I believe you've killed me back at least once though, so respect! I believe you're on top of many albs lists.

Two unknown spear Firbolgs (Heros?) during Hib seige - I don't know how I managed to kill you both in that melee, but that was my most glorious RvR moment ever I think, thanks! Please don't tell me you were res sick!

Snowdrop - My apologies for killing you twice in a row, and to your lurikeen friend whom i ignored as I did it. You probably know it already but let me just say, just in case - an assassin can't resist a sitting caster. Especially not sitting almost all by herself like that. <comforts>

Motorhead - Cool name! To quote Owadien: "Someone kill Motorhead his name is getting on me tits!"

Alright i'm sure i've forgotten people but these are what came from the top of my head... i've had a great first week in the battlegrounds, and would like to thank all hibs and mids who stayed up late with us! And let me apologize for those Albs who seem to find it funny to camp your PKs! More fun to let you out and and fight us where we don't expect it, i say!

And yes, thank you Arlonie for those buffs, they help lots! Too bad I always waste them on a single kill and then get killed myself. I really have to learn how to run.

My finest moment so far was when me, Ehlias, and Hef did like a last stand against a 5/6-man hib rush, mostly stealthers.. and we won. I died of poison about 20 seconds later, but it was like "Hey, where did the hibs go? OH MY GOD WE WON! <dies>"

Us infiltrators are a funny bunch.. I like the way we balance each other out stats wise.. most people are fairly well balanced.. however I do less damage than most people due to my high stealth (I do have 24+1 in CS though.. just low thrust and envenom). But I'm often the hardest to see.. there have been times when I've just stood in the middle of middie groups and waited for a nice face to skewer.

Ehlias.. on the other hand.. I ENVY the amount of damage you do. Its scary. If we were on opposing realms, I'd just use my stealth advantage to run as far away from you as possible

Another great Thid moment so far was during the hibbie seige, when they were camping their half of the Hib bridge - I ran along the bridge, saw a ranger that was harassing our healers, PA'd him for far less damage than I'd hope, had an "oh, knrl" moment, Garotted him and ran.. and shot off accross the bridge, with about 2 arrows sticking into me, being DD shouted.. smacked by eldritches.. and I knew I wasnt going to make it all the way across so I dived into the water and managed to stealth.. it was then that I realised that you guys got me to 3hp

I think that was DAOC's equivalent of the "tunnel o' fire" scene from just about every action movie.. ever.

I healed up in the water, went back, killed an eldritch, ran away.. and then you got me. Died with an arrow through my forhead. Such is life.. or death, I should say.

But the only times you got me was before Bloodomensword and co. showed up, and when he left for a while to check if you where camping closer to the fort

Hey i recognize you too! Sadly i'm not sure I ever caught you... and if i did it was probably one of those times where i didn't know what I was doing, blinded by battle fervor!

And for those who feel good about spotting me when i stealth - don't. I am officially the worst stealther in Thidranki, i think. Everyone knows i can't stealth for crap, but hey at least I've soloed two yellow spear firbies (two on one fight) and last night I soloed a yellow con zerker! Both times without being stealthed. <winks> Of course it helps with the sweet buffs received from some of the loveliest clerics/friars in albion! <winks at the ladies>

Harr! I got you two days ago... shortly after you turned some of my Eldritches organs into a bloody mess...

Two bolts and one laugh later you were dead. And yes, sitting on yer corpse is quite comfortable. Must be your cloak... alpaca?

Sad though, that 50% of all Albs you meet in Thidranki had to roll an Infiltrator. Our shade counted 6 or 7 earlier tonight...

Well...

The other night (while mids had the keep) was quite fun! I was planning to do one of my usual suicide runs towards the back parts of the mid army (standing on the alb bridge), and was swimming across the water when i spot a yellow dwarf (sorry i was too tired to note names). Snuck up to him and though he spotted me I managed to melee him to death, at the same time as another mid came to help, and i killed her too! Towards the end of killing her, someone was mezzing me, and as she died i turned to see another dwarf with a hammer swimming towards me.

Having 1/3 health and no endurance, i thought i was done for, but switched to my third blade anyway and hoped for the best. The poison bit into him, and he fled!! I was so tempted to follow and finish that third guy (had him down to about a third), but he ran towards the central keep, so i just turned back into the water and swam away... happily rejoycing for one of the best battles i've had in Thidranki!

Thanks to you three, I just wish i could remember your names!

Oh and to top off the evening, i got to one-shot some poor yellow-con kobold named Apa! (322 damage PA) <bows to Apa>

Ah well, just a few musings from a battle-scarred infiltrator who thinks he's an armsman, and who will soon be too scarred to stay in Thidranki. <cries>
