heroes at home in the kitchen in NF....::P?

is there any idea at all playing hero in NF...seems no one is considering they even exist
I have been trying to get mls templates etc for my hero long time now....and it seems in vain

NF keep takes and attacks look really dull for them, oh the joy of /stick caster, or bashing doors down.

Hero artifacts are a pain to level and being a melee class they really suffer from con and durability loss.

My heros been doing the dishes since I realised how hard it is to level all the tank artis and what future he would have once they are done.

Anyway, i think you guys are right. I dont see why things should really change alot.. I mean.. Albs have allways been zerging.. And we can still run fg and win fights as far as i see things..
My point is, dont compare excal with US server, cuz its just BS to do.. And lets keep an open mind imo and see how things will be for us.. Heros might work, or they could ofc just reroll to champ and be fotm

a). Things have already changed. Bodyguard, bladeturn pets etc have made tank groups obsolete, I didnt want my hero to be a shield tank, but already hes forced into this roll. This isnt guesswork about what NF will be like so much as what RVR is like now.

b). I cant see 101 keep attacks/defences helping this in ANY way other than diverting people away from non camped battles.

Well i just wanted to start a discussion about it, and tbh these discussions dont tell u anything cause in all cases the opinions are so devided and nothing is ever clear. I know what boni said though and agree with the portion about that heroes are allready forced into one role. Though i like playing deffensive so im not bothered by that, what bothers me is the constant question: Do u have BG..ahh...ok....then we rather wait 3 hours in middle of night for other tank so we can be zerged but at least get one hit harder from a bm or such
Thats what irritating imo.....and hope we can fill some other role in NF so i can escape that kind of disgrace....

Well I'm looking forward to NF. I rarely log in these days, as there is absolutely nothing happening in Hib for people like me looking for random groups. Standard day in DAOC is log on at DL, lfg for 30 mins without a single invite, try to make a group and get about 2 more people, log out after an hour or so bored to death and wondering why I pay money to play this.

NF will at least bring something new to the game to at least make me log on for a while whilst I wait for WOW.
