Just templated my new heretic, have 5% spell pierce in the temp. The heretic has a self buff of 10% SP as well.

Do they stack above 10% or should I drop my templated SP down to 0?

capped at 10% no matter what the bonus says so yes I believe its correct you can have 0 spell pierce from a template as a tic if you get 10% from the buff, naturally if you want croc form feel free tho.
