Running XP pro on me laptop.
Connected to the internet (barrydial, of course) and usually the little picture pops into the system tray saying what spped your connected at etc. But, for some reason, it didnt come up, it was ok last night.

Also, if I go to the Barrydial properties, it gives the connect option instead of disconnect.!!??

Any ideas all you XP h8t3rs.

Thanks, I re-booted and its ok now. Thing is, with me laptop, I rarely re-boot, it just goes into hibernation when I close the lid.

But, its sorted now.:)

I have a similar problem, when I'm using my wireless network card and the built in card. After a period of time the connection icons will disapear, and I have to retoggle the option in their properties to get em back :(
