Heh - I've had that effect - if I turn power saving on and leave the pc alone for long enough when I come back I get the 70's look until video card warms up - u can spend minutes staring at the grass - wow man - it mooooves....

I've never had this affect but was repeatedly getting one in Thidranki where I would have a regular patchwork of dark and light, i.e the area was divided into alternate squares of night and day.

On the old comp I get that effect if I have it on "standard 3D card" instead of "Voodoo based". There's a Voodoo5 card in that comp.

that happened after i accidentaly loaded halflife up while xp`n :/ i thaught wtf.. cool effects
