I went and saw Henry Rollin's spoken words show last night, and it knocked me sideways. Thoroughly recommend anyone to go and see one of his shows if they get the chance. Highlights included his theory on why George Bush breaks down all his sentences into three word sections, on how he managed to get a death threat from the KKK, passing time on e-bay, and what happened when he got invited to Ozzie Osbournes new years party

It took me three hours to get home from London though, because none of us had a fucking clue how to get anywhere without a native guide

As I see him presenting that Scrapheap Challenge rip off shite on Ch4 I want to weep.

I'm sorry Dams, glad you liked him but I haven't been able to take him seriously for a few years now :/

Well, I didn't see him in that programme, and I guess I'm glad

I got into Rollins with the Liar single, and that's really how I still see him (I tried to repress his smatterings of an acting career, mostly because as cool as a Rollins cameo is, the films he chose were decaying turkey corpses for the most part).

Honestly though Xtro, if you liked just the feel and emotion of his old material, you'd love his stage show.

Forgive him for wandering away for a bit?

The Liar video was the best video ever!

All those signs pointing towards "sanity" and him running the other way for the chorus - genius!

On another note I saw him last night presenting some show where people were building buggies to go round some Stunt Car Racer-esque track. Don't know what the hell that was all about.
