I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to say a huge 'congratulations' to Tim Henman.

As a nation, we have seen our underdogs being eaten relentlessly by the terrible march of success. Tim Henman is the last bastion standing against this terrible upward mobility of our sporting folk.

God bless Tim for steadfastly refusing to go the extra mile, for turning to jelly under the slightest pressure, for being our last great 'nearly man'.

In the world of choking under-performers, there truly are non better. And for this Mr. Henman, I salute you.

No doubt we'll invent another sport and then get beaten at it, but at least we invented it!!

I personally think Tim Henman does well seens hes not that great a player technique is pretty average hes not got a great serve and his backhand is weak, he doesn't do bad to say hes a crap player and hes the only real tennis player we have :p

What's terribly sad is the only time Tim or tennis in the UK are paid any attention is during Wimby fortnight.

I guess Tim's performance at RG was relatively impressive but then he was pretty lucky with the draw :)
