Been using NAV2002 for as long as I can remember, in boredom I thought I might as well acquire (heh) NAV2003, resulting in:

This happens immediately after every install of it :/

Any ideas, anyone?

Any other virus software installed (including NAV2002) that didn't get completely removed prior to installing 2003? Virus software can be particularly shitty about the presence of other av programs...

OMG! Norton Antivirus 2003 Professional somehow appeared on my hard-drive! Amazing, seeing as you only mentioned it today!

I uninstalled 2002 and 2003 Pro slipped into place like a well-lubricated MiniMamba™. I'd side with Will on this and suggest corrupt download.

Well, goto Norton and Download the latest virus definitions manually, that way you wont get that Error.... in theory

I eventually got it sorted, it didn't like "NTFSDisable8Dot3NameCreation=1" or something in the registry being set to 1.

Working perfectly so far, now.
