help !

hiyas,

this thread is more for a friend of mine , not registered here yet.
He has pbs with his character screen, in fact it is BLANK
so he can't use it to join the game, instead he was using the quick log bar...so far...
But today, he tried to fix this blank screen issue, and reinstalled whole DAOC...but it didnt help....
so now not only he can't use his character sreen, bu he can't log at all, as he lost the quick load data...
anyone familar with that problem?
is there a file related to the quikc log, so perhaps i could send him mine, he could edit it and use temporary to log in?

any help appreciated

erm i would probably say it is a gfx card driver problem. Try down loading the latest drivers for his gfx card.

Could fix it seem it looks like a display problem to me

ah i just posted the very same problem!!!

it happened when i had to set my new system up (w XP) and had to reinstall daoc...

and yes i have the lastest detonator driver...never had any problems with that so far...

friend of mine hasnt fixed it yet...
but i did send him my user.dat file which contains the quick login data, he edited it and managed to log...
at least that

all working again...must have been related to this major lag which caused many trouble around here the last days...package loss above 50 % lol...everything fine again now ))
