Help!!!

Hi again, Please someone help me out with this. I dont know what the hell is wrong with my DirectSound. Every time a game loads direct sound I get some crakcling in the speakers - even though this doesnt happen in windows. I have tried sliding the Direct Sound acceleration slider, but it still does nbothing.

I have a SB PCI 64V card with the latest drivers. Ideas anyone?

Wot 3d or graphics card have u got m8??? That might be the problem, low frames per second give you poor qaulity sound!

I have a pants card - a TNT2 M64 but I still get frame rates of 35 in HL and I have never had this problem before. Now I get crackling in EVERY directsound game. It is annoying as hell. Could it be a fault on the sound card?

35fps good? nah. Dunno whats wrong with the sound though but 35fps is shit

COuld eb a fualt on the card, could be your volume settings? Got a microphone giving feedback?

Installed anynew cards lately? Your sound card should be at least 2 pci slots away from toehr cards to stop interference.
