Lo ppl I need some help.

On every map change I get kicked and get this message.
Could not load Valve/Half Life wad.
When I rejoin i get a (1) in front of my name lol

I some times get kicked well in the game and get this message.
net_queuepacket WSAENOTSOCK

Any 1 know what the ferk this is.

Not really sure m8, I am asuming you aint using the retail version, as u can reconnect fine. Not really sure but are you using IPX? If you are dont.

Other than that sounds like its time for a complete HL/CS reinstall

I kept getting this. It went on for months until I resolved it. You could try what the other post suggested and uninstall/reinstall everything. I did all that but still no joy. But try it before you do what I am going to suggest.

There is a program if you're running win98 that lets you put back damaged or altered system files back into windows. It's a great little program and I use it whenever I get bluescreen errors or persistent crashing.

Click start/run and type sfc - say 'ok'

This is the System File Checker. You MUST have your copy of win98 on CD to use it. If you don't have win98 on disk then forget it (unless you have the cab files stored somewhere else on your hard drive).

Anyway run sfc and replace any damaged files. sfc will prompt you before it makes any changes. Read carefully what it is telling/asking you before you proceed.

I had the problem for months and I searched forums to no avail - this cured it for me.

If it's still doing it after this you'll have to reformat c:
*gulp*

I shouldn't have to say this but before you run sfc or do anything this drastic back up ALL your stuff!
