i have only recently joined barrysworld and have a slight problem>
could u please tell me when i book a server and go into it how do i control it ?
do i use vote codes or an admin program?
i noticed in barrys there is something about remote server admin but i could not get this to work
please help as i have booked a match on saterday and need to know how to set server admin up

Server Admin

I had to learn this stuff and was a bit nervous but I learnt in about 5 minutes so don't worry!
When you booked your server you would have specified a webadmin password. The login is probably admin (default) unless you changed it.

To control the server you point your browser (eg Internet Explorer) to a special webpage setup specificaly to control the server.

If, for example you booked server 4, then the GAME address is
harpo.barrysworld.com:8040 (this is the one you give to the players)but point your browser to
harpo.barrysworld.com:9040 and you will get a javascript prompt into which you type your username (admin) and your password (the one you chose when you made the booking).

Then you are in and you have control!

Hope it helps! And one last thing, if your game is not starting (i.e. everyone is "waiting for players")then make sure TOURNAMENT MODE is unticked. And remember you must restart the server for your changes to have effect. Good luck!
