Help!

Every time i log into SI i get to the character select screen and normally before i can select a character my monitor refreshes its resolution and zap im back on the desktop.
I've just spent the last 4 hours installing the latest verisons of direct x, any driver i can possibly think i need, uninstalling and reinstalling Si and still it wont work! someone please help

I had that once and the problem was solved after I installed my Via 4in1 drivers again (if you have that chipset)

Otherwise, don't think it can be much else apart from gfx card driver
