help with US cata

i down loaded the 14 days trail to play on the new US server, i bougth a cd-key for cata but cant use my EU cd's (only get error that i miss files or some are corrupted)

any ides to solve it with out buying new US cd's?


and yes i have changed the update.dat file to US server update

Ok, heres how you do it.

Install SI from scratch. Open up update.DAT and paste in the following :-

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat

This will download about 45mb ish of files which you need. When you've downloaded then all replace the above with the following :-

Mythic Patch
patch.daoc.net:1280/updates/isles/mpatch.dat
patch.daoc.net:1280/updates/isles/mpatch.dat

This will download the US exe and even more MB's of SI. With all this downloaded you should be ready to pay DAoC with SI version. As for catacombs you just repeat the above but change the word 'isles' to 'catacombs'
