help wanted please!

I am currently having problems connecting to daoc.

It gets to the blue loading screen, says *v 1.52 loading* and then drops out to desktop.

I get no error message, and everything was fine yesterday

I reinstalled daoc and still have problems.

Anyone had a similar problem? Anyone got any suggestions?
(i am currently trying rightnow)

I don't think anything is running in the background and interupting it.

Any help gratefully received.

hmmm check that you use right username for right character

if you got 2 accounts and use account 1 with tthe char on accoutn 2 then it starts loading on the loading screen and just falls out again

dont ask how i know this.

Have you got a firewall running?
I noticed the other day, when the new game.dll loaded, I had to recheck in my firewall to allow DAOC to go online.

This problem seems to have occured since Mythic updated the game .dll files last week.

You dont give any system specs but I will hazard a guess that the problem is gfx driver related.

I was running the Det 41.03's without problems, but I too encountered the same crash to desktop. Try running the 40.72 WHQL drivers from http://www.nvidia.com

i think it is gfx driver related. i got a radeon 9700. reinstalling drivers fixed my problem. but it has happened again since, so i had to reinstall em again

when i am playing my pc reboots for no reason then i cant play, and cant reconnect. reinstalling drivers sorts problem. its like something is corrupting em.
