Ok, I have amd 2ghz processor.
256mb ram
GF4 ti4200
Windows 98

I have directx 9 (tried 8.1 too)
I have latest drivers for my graphics card.

When I run dark age of camelot, (Should run perfect on a ti4200)
I can renderation creation failed, I know none of you are specialists at this specific game but..

I had an error:
"Setup was unable to delete the following file:
nvqtwk.dll

The installatin will be terminated."

I fixed this by manualy finding the file and deleteing it, then reinstalling my drivers.

After a restart I get :
"Error loading C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NvCpl.dll

A dynamic link library (dll) initialisation routine failed."

Im thinking this might be the reason..

Thanks in advance.

Ps. No I won't change from 98. :p

Edit: Posted this in daoc tech forum too, posting here to try and get more responce :p

"nvqtwk.dll"

Doesn't this indicate installation of some sort of refresh rate fix program?

If I vaguely remember this happened to me when I used to play. I got rid of the refresh rate fix and it worked again.

Basically it's cos you've got a refresh tweak installed. Unfortunately you need to get rid of it.

which resolution are you running at? The render creation failed error on NVIDIA hardware generally arises if you try and run above 1024x768, have you tried it at 800x600?

Maybe he's actually stuck in the Year 1999 and it's all he can use. Now that is a horrible thought. Well, apart from getting to celebrate the millenium for all eternity.

It would be wrong to celebrate a millenium he will never reach. That's plain cheating. Not cricket.
