recently i had to do a few uninstalls and reinstalls of cs (retail) b4 when i used to play there would b the thin grey line at the bottom showing windows bar minimized, this was useful, ie. when i heard someone come on my icq i could hit m to get team swap opportuinty and just move mouse down to bottom right of screen and see who came on-line without leaving the game. also i was able to alt + tab out to windows, now however the thin grey line is gone and i can't alt tab out, and if i do get icqed then it's like i have gone back to windows but screen hangs :-( advice plz

yea used to having it open when i'm just playing on publics incase some1 wants me, obviously it's off for clan matches lol

What gfx card and drivers do you use?

With my geforce 2 I used to use 6.50 dets and would have to alt + tab to windows whcih would come out at wrong resolution, then i would have to go back to Cs and alt + tab (or windows key) back to desktop.

With the 7.58 dets I use currently I can alt+tab (or windows key) out first time every time, only problem is I lose all sound in Cs, only way to get it back is go to main Cs menu and press resume game (Which wont work if u dont use gamespy/pingtool to connect, as you will not be able to get to this main menu screen with out disconnecting from server.)

Just turn ICQ off when playing Cs it uses tooo much memory, and is bloody annoying.

thnx ch3tan will check my drivers i also use geforce 2 (gts) so maybe that is it icq use too much memory? muhahahha got 512 pc133 plenty to go round thanx again.
